I picked up the CURLOOK Kinky-Coily Conditioner to see if it could actually handle my son’s stubborn coils, and honestly, it’s been a nice surprise. The formula skips silicones, but it’s loaded with good stuff—shea butter, avocado oil, niacinamide, and a bunch of plant extracts. It feels like it’s actually nourishing his hair, not just sitting on top of it.
The texture is creamy, but it doesn’t feel heavy at all. It glides through damp hair, no problem. I let it sit for a few minutes and when I rinsed, his hair felt clean but way softer and shinier. Detangling? So much easier—always a win if you’ve got tighter curls.

I’ve got high porosity curls that tend to get dry and lose definition easily, so finding a conditioner that truly works is rare. After using this product and looking into ingredients here’s what I have.
What I love:
My curls felt noticeably softer immediately after rinsing I could detangle without so much tugging or breakage.
The rich oils (shea + avocado) really helped seal in moisture so I had fewer dry days and less frizz!
My curl pattern looked defined and bouncy instead of shapeless.
I appreciated that it didn’t weigh my curls down or leave them feeling greasy.
Note:
Because MY hair is HIGH porosity and tends to soak stuff up, I’ve found it’s best used on cleansed, damp hair and left on for 5 TO 10 minutes for best results.
If your hair is very fine or low porosity, this might feel a bit to much for your hair.
Scent was not strong and didnt have that manly smell you would expect.
Overall:
I Highly recommend for anyone with dry, high porosity curls who want moisture PLUS definition without a heavy feel.
Even with the pump breaking when taking it out of the package I still give it 5 stars!

This Curlook conditioner go curly hair is very nice.
It comes in a good sized pump bottle and is sealed so well that it didn’t leak in transit and I had a hard time getting into it!

This conditioner is for curly hair and it’s geared towards men, but I got it for mine and my daughters curly hair. This review is for CurlLook Kinky-Coily Conditioner, which is made in Canada. I got the shampoo at the same time and the conditioner got 5 stars but the shampoo was a bit lacking. The conditioner is a creamy white color and it smells fresh and clean. The scent is light and airy and does not overpower like the shampoo does. I used this even though it says it is for men because hair is hair right?
The conditioner also provided a great amount of slip for detangling my hair and I did not need to use a separate detangler. This is great for shoulder length 4C hair!
At a price of $20.00 for 13.5 oz, I think this is a great value for the money as it works well and smells great. I wish the shampoo had the same type of scent.
I did not experience any irritation when using the product and you can see the ingredient list in the final image.

I recently got the men’s shampoo from this brand and when I saw they had a conditioner, I ordered it to give it a try as well. I typically don’t use conditioners but my hair has been feeling a bit dry since its getting colder and the heat is on, and I’m liking this one so far!
The conditioner arrives in a grey plastic bottle that’s covered in plastic wrap and loose in the package. Once you get the wrap off, you can use the pump to dispense it. I don’t have that much hair and I don’t need a lot to get good coverage. It smells really good, yet not too strong.
After several uses I’m finding my hair is a lot less dry. My wife finds it smells really good and even tried using some in her hair! I do find it complements the shampoo from the same brand and while I don’t use it every wash, I know when my hair needs it and it does help a lot!
If you’re looking to try a men’s conditioner that smells nice but isn’t too overwhelming, this is a good one and I recommend it!

I ordered this conditioner for my Wife. She has combination 3C – 3D coily hair. Here are her comments:
– This is an amazing scented conditioner. If you are sensitive to scents, do be aware of that. For me I love it. It has a clean, citrusy smell.
– The conditioner is thick and creamy. It slicks well and provides good slip for detangling. My hair feels remarkably light. I found this surprising. I expected it to feel heavy.
– My hair rinses clean, with no heavy residue left behind. It is soft, well-moisturised, with a beautiful, clean scent.
– This conditioner is very moisturizing. For the colder months, it is doing really well on my hair. I am not sure how it is going to do in the heat and humidity of the summer. It might be a little too moisturizing. Only summer will tell!

This Mens’ Kinky-Coily Silicon-Free conditioner offers a really nice, high-quality thick and creamy formula. I also like the smell, which isn’t too feminine or too masculine. It’s very gender friendly actually. This conditioner is easy to apply, and leaves my hair soft, moisturized, and looking shiny and healthy.
For best results, I’ve been leaving it on for 2-3 minutes while soaping up. Previously, I was using a two-in-one shampoo and conditioner. My hair was looking pretty dry and I am often looking for better product in the Fall and Winter because of the drier weather. I have longer hair and it just seemed frizzy, dry, and slightly damaged lately. This conditioner has really helped to provide extra rich hydration. It has certainly tamed down the frizz, and the rich moisturization leaves my hair looking healthier and richer-looking without being overly weighed down like using hair oils…it certainly looks less dry.
Now, I do have one consideration. At the time of my review this conditioner is selling for nearly $25 for 400 ml. That to me is quite expensive, and although it works nicely for my hair; I just don’t think it’s priced very well. I don’t think I would be comfortable spending $25 on 400 ml. of conditioner. I would like to see the price reduced to somewhere around $15. My local Winners store has 1 litre (1000 ml) of very similar conditioners selling between $12.99 – $18.99. I just don’t see that this product offers very good value personally based on the expensive cost.

strong enough for man….how’S that old go?
After sampling a few Curlook products over the last month, I am concluding that their ‘mens’ line is more unisex and almost all start out with a slight musk/citrus which mellows out after about being open for a week. In fact, i’d say after that first week it’S more feminine in fact to my nose. like that old antiperspirent ad used to: strong enough for a man…. This was also the case with this Kinky-Coily Hair conditioner. That said, I find this one in particular for their conditioner line to be the best of the bunch. Feels a little more conentrated and richer than the others. While price/value is debatable as shile there are cheaper options out there, I feel for the fact that this is silicone, paraben, and sulfate free, works super well in detangling the most stubborn of hair, and made in Canada to boot that this for my household represents a good value.

Full disclosure, I am not a man but I appreciate the musky smell of manly smelly things and it’s a nice change from the fruity delicious shampoos and soaps I normally use.
This kinky-coily silicone-free condition is just the right kind of thing to make your curls shine but keep it clean.
The condition is THICK and SLIPPERY, which is wild for a silicone-free product. Like the shampoo from the same company, it too smells just amazing and I’m sure your favourite lady will agree with me on this.
The only issue I had with the conditioner was the pump bottle which immediately after removing the plastic cover, the pump head fell off. I tried but simply could not figure out how to put it back on so I had to transfer it all to another bottle. Not the end of the world and hopefully just an issue with the bottle I got.

A little bit of condition is enough to get full coverage. It rinses out well and leaves hair shiny and smooth. This conditioner has a strong warm musky scent that lasts in hair even after rinsing. I believe it is from the sandalwood extract, which is listed on the ingredient list. This can be a pro or a con depending on if you like scented products. Some people will love smell (others loved the smell of my hair), but as a person who gets migraines from scents it would’ve been nice to know it was a heavily scented product. Currently, it does not list anywhere on the product page that is is scented, unless “men” equals “smell”???

Curly hair conditioner
I ordered this for my husband. I did however tried it on my own hair, but I do not have curly hair.
My hair presents other kind of challenge, as it is long, dry, and damaged from chemical processing and bleaching.
I used both the shampoo and the conditioner together. Both products have a clear manly scent, and layering the two products enhanced the scent. It really did not work for me as a female, it is a scent that reminds me of ozone and seaside.
The conditioner appears good as it lacks chemicals which I wish to avoid, such as silicones and parabens. It is quite gentle. I wish it was a little more nourishing, but then I did follow up with a leave in conditioner and a styling cream.
I wish that the scent was a little less strong, or maybe a bit more generalized. My husband did enjoy the smell, as he finds it refreshing, a departure from the often used cocoa butter scent.
I do recommend this product for curly hair, especially for men. I think that it is a good value due to the quality ingredients and the larger sized bottle with a pump.

Decent conditioner!
Altough it wasn’t as moisturizing as I had thought it would’ve been, it’s still quite decent. Leaves the hair feeling soft and healthy looking so it does the job.
Bottle is a good size and I feel It’ll last a good awhile. Ingredients all look great but I was a wee bit disappointed to see fragrance as an ingredient as that could be any degree of chemical and you won’t know what. But this is still cleaner then most so it’s still more natural product.

I’m really enjoying this hair conditioner. I find that it doesn’t have an overwhelming smell and it rinses out well and still leaves my hair feeling great. Not as moisturizing as expected
I am a female and didn’t realize this was for men. Tried it anyway as I have wavy/curly hair. I really enjoyed the shampoo in this line and was hopeful for the conditioner.
Both are sulfate, paraban and silicone free.
While the shampoo felt more conditioning, the conditioner left my hair a little dry and stringy after.
It smells musky so I will pass it on. I wish it was more conditioning. Wavy/curly hair requires deep conditioning to the high porosity and dryness.
