Really nice curly hair conditioner.
I’m always on the lookout for conditioning products for my thick curly hair. I was excited to find this CURLOOK Kinky-Coily Hair Conditioner so I ordered. It arrived quickly, well packaged and sealed to prevent and spillage in transit. It looks just like the photos and I received exactly what I ordered.
I’ll qualify the rest of this by saying that I have a Caucasian hair with a combo of 2c/3a curls but find products for kinky or coily curls work very well for me. My hair is thick, dense and some bits coarse and it can be very unruly. That said, I love this conditioner and my hair loves this conditioner. It works wonderfully for me and leaves my hair super soft and way more manageable. It does have a strong fragrance which isn’t awful but can be a bit overwhelming since I have a ton of hair.
Overall I really like this conditioner and find it to be very effective for my 2c/3a curls. It leaves my hair soft and works as I had hoped. The fragrance is a bit much but not a deal breaker for me. I will order this again since it works so well for me. 5 stars from me for sure.

Worth the price for curly dry hair
This conditioner honestly exceeded my expectations and I’m really impressed with how well it worked on my hair. My hair has been getting thinner lately and it’s naturally curly and super dry so it mats up constantly which is super annoying to deal with. After using this I noticed a huge difference in how manageable my hair became and the matting issue pretty much disappeared. The formula feels really rich and you can tell right away that this is a quality product that actually does what it claims to do.
It is definitely on the pricier side but honestly you’re paying for something that actually works and feels premium. The baobab oil and mango butter in it really help with hydration and keeping frizz under control which my hair desperately needed. If you have similar hair issues and you’re tired of buying products that don’t deliver I would totally recommend this one because might be worth the extra money for the results you get. It’s one of those products where you can actually feel the difference in your hair quality after using it.

Didn’t weigh down my curls
I don’t know my hair curl type—I’ve had natural, tight curls since the 4th grade, and it wasn’t until about two years ago that I’d heard of system to identify curl types! My curl pattern varies throughout my hair, but I think I definitely have a lot of 4A curls.
Sometimes I leave my hair curly, but mostly I dry it straight. This conditioner is rich and thick, and it easily coated my fine, thin hair. I left it on for about five minutes and then rinsed it clean. It definitely left my curls feeling hydrated, soft, and it didn’t weigh down my hair. I love how it smells, but some might find it a little too strong. Nice product!

Both of my kids have curly hair. We’ve tried a few different shampoos and conditioners and most do not work well with their hair. Their hair tends to just get frizzy and dry. I used this conditioner following my regular shampoo. It took quite a few pumps to get enough coat my strands. It has a thickened lotion like texture. No unpleasant fragrance. I covered my hair with a plastic cap (the instructions do not require this step). After 5ish minutes, I detangled and rinsed my hair.
My hair felt “soft”
The same sort of softness I expect from any conditioner.
I do feel like moisture penetrated my strands.

Beautiful natural curls
I ordered this for the three curly girlies in my family. They’re all around 3a-3c. We used this conditioner after their normal shampoo.
First thing we noticed is that it really made a difference in how easy it was to work through the mats. Having young girls with curls, the underside of their hair gets unruly fast. This helped us get through that much easier after their showers.
Their hair felt soft, and hydrated.
They air dried with no product and their curls looks great and no frizz.

I absolutely love this conditioner. I don’t have kinky hair but my husband and I both have textured hair, which means that it really tends to dry out A LOT. My hair isn’t quite the target of this product – I have 2b/2c waves, which are hardly coily or kinky, but I have found that my hair occasionally does benefit from curly products.
This smells great and has surprisingly good slip for being silicone-free. My hair felt hydrated, but my hair actually likes cones so this isn’t the best fit for my hair as a daily driver. But I do plan to incorporate it into my routine to change things up.
From my secondhand knowledge from friends with coily hair, this seems like it has a lot of properties that do better for those hair types. It is a bit expensive, though, for the size. I won’t repurchase for me, but I’ll keep it in mind to recommend to my coily-haired girlfriends.

This conditioner? Not if you want your hair to feel soft or hold a curl longer than overnight.
I have 2B Eastern european hair which means it’s got a little stubborn asian in it.
Unlike asian hair it’s not straight but it wants to pull the straight into curls so shape is a challenge.
Let’s move past the strands of hair that pulled through my fingers while working it in.
My hair is always soft when it air dries, especially with a leave-in. Not with this conditioner.
Then I thought “Well look how good the curls look. So bouncy and defined.”
Even with a next day curl refresh hair that always makes me happy, my curls looked deranged.
This is more a 1-2 star product for me but maybe 3/4 level hair will have better results?

Ordered this for my wife, who always says “I have thin hair, but a lot of it, so it’s difficult to manage.”
She and I both find the scent really pleasant, and we both (though I have very short to no hair) find the feeling very nice, along with how easily it rinses, and who the hair feels after rinsing.
In terms of actually function, though, my wife says it really helps with frizz and tangles, and allows her to have straighter, cleaner, shinier, and easier to manage hair (also adds softness). Overall, she’s really happy with it (though it should be noted her hair is more wavy/straight than curly, so can’t speak specifically to curl management).
In all, would order again – happy with it.

Im generally not a huge fan of most conditioners as I find they weigh down my hair and leave a film. This curlook is great on my curly ‘BIG’ hair and washes out cleanly without leaving any greasy residue or weighing me down.
Even the next day I am still feeling that sort of bounce and subtle shine and i can easily glide my fingers or comb through my hair with ease. My fair feels healthy and soft to the touch.
The texture is creamy and not greasy and I appreciate that it’s made in Canada.
I am not a huge fan of the pump though and would have preferred just a regular cap or spout to ensure no product gets gummed up in the pump hose over time. I had to remove it and rinse it out with warm water twice now to get it going again.

I’ve been using this condition for a while now and I really like it. My hair is semi-curly with a tendency towards dryness. It leaves my hair silky without feeling greasy or weighed down. I can brush through my curls easily and it really helps with the detangling. It also feels really soft after use.
There’s no high concern ingredients per EWG, but if you’re staying away from PEGs it’s in the ingredients list, thought this is no different than most conditioner blends on the market today.
It smells very nice. Not too strong, but still leaves my hair feeling fresh. Nice and thick, as you can see in the picture, so it works in well. I like the pump also, which makes dispensing it easy. The bottles are thick too so they won’t suck in/cave in like a lot of cheaper bottles.

I have been natural with my hair for almost ten years now, so I am very particular about the products I use to avoid breakage and buildup and retain moisture and length.
After analyzing the ingredients in this product, everything listed is appropriate for natural curly hair like mine.
The shampoo cleanses gently without stripping moisture and the conditioner detangles and provides a good amount of slip.
Once dried, my hair was soft, shiny and the curls were as juicy as ever.
I will say however that the scent is a bit strong, which I don’t mind, but be aware for anyone with scent sensitivities.

Les cheveux de ma conjointe sont très bouclés, presque crépus et secs. Elle a essayé une tonne de produits pour ce type de cheveux. I have 4C natural hair that is very thick; I started with Curlook shampoo and followed up with this conditioner for kinky hair. The conditioner left my hair feeling soft and moisturised and I was able to comb through my hair without adding any moisturiser, which I usually have to do.
A little goes a long way and I find the fragrance to be strong, but, pleasant.

Sulfate Free Conditioner for Coily/Kinky hair
I don’t have Coily or kinky hair. I do have wavy/curly hair that is extremely dry and frizzy. I thought maybe this specific shampoo/conditioner combo would be extra hydrating an curl defining.
Also, the conditioner is sulfate, paraban and silicone free which is rare for conditioner. I typically will use a deep conditioner instead of a regular conditioner as I wash my hair once or twice a week but thought I would try this. I like the pump dispenser. The shampoo is flip top which is annoying. The conditioner is thicker which is nice and has some slip. I found the shampoo to be more moisturizing oddly. And while I love the shampoo, I am not a fan of the conditioner for my hair. Not bad but I prefer deep conditioning.
Large amount which is great value. I love the scent. Not over powering. Washes out easily.
