I’ve been using the CURLOOK Kinky-Coily Shampoo for a few weeks, and it has quickly become a favorite in my hair care routine.
The shampoo produces a rich, luxurious lather that cleanses thoroughly without stripping my hair of natural moisture. I love how soft and manageable my coils feel after each wash, and the combination of niacinamide, creatine, and nourishing plant extracts seems to strengthen my hair from within.
This sulfate-free formula works beautifully for my kinky-coily texture, helping to define my curls while keeping frizz under control. It leaves my hair looking shiny and healthy, and I appreciate that it is safe for color-treated hair. Good Men’s Shampoo
I’m very much enjoying using this men’s shampoo daily. It came sealed well so that nothing leaked out in the box during shipping. The scent is musky without being overwhelming and post shower, I can’t really smell it. Even with my oily hair this is able to cut through the dirt and leave my hair feeling clean. About a quarter size is all that is needed for enough suds for my liking, meaning this should last me a long time
After a wash my scalp doesn’t feel dried out, and I don’t notice any residue in my hair. I’d definitely compare this to other brands of shampoo I’ve used, and I’m happy with this product

I have type 2-C curls, not kinky-coily hair, but usually hair products for 3/4 curls work really well on my hair because they are very moisturizing. This shampoo lathers well and rinses out cleanly. It gets my hair very clean and doesn’t tangle it. It is kind of drying and my hair doesn’t feel as hydrated as with my usual curly hair products. I have to use a thick conditioner with a some drops of hair oil to make my hair feel moisturized.
The scent is strong. I don’t mind because I really like sandalwood and amber. The scent sticks around in my bathroom for an hour after I’ve showered. The ingredients look good and it doesn’t have all of the bad ingredients a lot of cheap shampoos have. I don’t know what benefit creatine has on hair and skin but I’m all for trying it.
I like how clean it gets my hair but I would like it better if it was more moisturizing. But with a thick conditioner afterward it’s pretty good.

I tried this shampoo out this morning. Before I even took off the protective shield I smelled its pleasing aroma. It is strong but it doesn’t stay on your hair after you wash it out. It says on the bottle to use a generous amount but I found that I only needed a little because it lathers quickly and well. A little goes a long way! This is a big size bottle so this will last me for a while. It cleaned my hair quickly without drying it out. In fact, I didn’t even have to use a detangler afterwards. My hair was left squeaky clean and yet still very soft and manageable. My hair is texturized and extremely thick so this was much needed. I didn’t notice any difference in my curls, as far as them being more defined, but my hair was extremely soft. I’m very pleased and looking forward to trying out the rest of the hairline.

masculine scent
I know it says for men, but I still use it. I really like the more masculine scent- I don’t always want to smell like flowers! This is really moisturizing and helped my wavy hair really shine through. Like it encouraged the curl/ texture and didn’t weigh it down. I also noticed much less frizz than I usually have, which I have been struggling with for a while. Overall I’m happy with this shampoo.

Honestly, I don’t have Kinky or Curley Hair but it’s thick and just like most others can get frizzy so I thought I’d give this a try.
The scent isn’t bad at all imo.
Lathers up well, Helps hydrate and moisturize my hair and feels good on my scalp after rinsing and drying off.
If you’re looking for a fruity smelling product this isn’t it. Which is fine with me.
I’m just a typical Guy that wants a clean and fresh smell. Without Strong fruity fragrances that depending on the product sometimes lingers awhile.
My fiancé has used it also, and her hair is a little on the curly side and she really likes it as well.
So, Normally if we both end up agreeing on something It’s overall good.
It’s a little pricey but when it comes to keeping our Hair, Skin and Health all on point then sometimes it’s just worth paying extra as long as the results justify it.
Overall I’m happy with the Shampoo, so no complaints!
I’m guessing that people with very Curly hair will appreciate this more than me for obvious reasons but I feel it’s just a good Shampoo whether it be curly hair or not.

I didn’t realize until after ordering that this shampoo was made for men, and it definitely smells like it. However, the scent isn’t as strong once in use, and I honestly didn’t notice it at all after conditioning. Minus the smell, this shampoo is BOMB! It left my hair feeling clean but not stripped, and my curls were popping/clumping. I included a picture post-wash, right after rinsing out the shampoo. I will be adding this to my weekly wash day routine. I have fine 4c hair.

This Curlook shampoo has an excellent creamy texture that spreads easily and lathers well. It thoroughly nourishes and moisturizes hair and seems to repair rough patches as well. Since it’s sulfate free, it’s healthier for the hair than a regular shampoo. It has a mild scent, though I’m not a big fan of it. However it doesn’t last much longer after rinsing off, so it’s not a deal breaker for me. The shampoo is in a standard sized bottle but seems to be priced somewhat on the higher side.

This CURLOOK Kinky-Coily Hair Shampoo for Men is specifically designed for kinky-coily hair though I don’t think it did anything particular for my curly hair. Mine is curly though, but not kinky-coily.
Though it is meant for men, I think the fragrance smells florally and not really masculine and that it is a bit too strong, but the smell does dissipate after drying. Regardless, my husband really likes products specifically designed for men. In the case of shampoos though, I’m not sure that it’s anything other than fragrance that would be different.
It lathers well and cleaned my hair well.
This is a Canadian brand and I’ve tried several of their products and like them a lot. This one, perhaps less than the others, but overall, I find their products extremely nice.

Curlook kinky coily shampoo for men-
I got this to try on my hair and I have long straight thick hair. This shampoo is very moisturizing and I did not need to add conditioner to my hair. My hair was really easy to brush through. I air dried my hair and it was kind of wispy and flat due to so much moisturizing/hydration, and made my hair feel weighted. This wasn’t for my hair type but I still wanted to try it. The shampoo still did a great job of cleaning and moisturizing/hydrating my hair.

Nice curls, slightly herbal/masculine scent
I love this CURLOOK kinky-coily hair shampoo; it works well on my greying, permed B3 shoulder length curls. It lathered and rinsed easily; my hair felt soft and bouncy without feeling dried, tight, or stripped. I like how well the shampoo and conditioner worked to give my curls bounce without any frizz, and a nice shine. The scent was slightly masculine, with an earthy/herbal tone, but it didn’t linger after drying; oddly enough, it was less masculine than the curly version. At the listed price, it’s similar to other quality sulfate free shampoos, just a little more expensive, but I like it enough to get it again.

Although this says it is for men, it can definitely be used by either gender. The aroma is slightly on the masculine side, but it doesn’t linger too heavily afterward. When used on thick curly hair, it really enhances the look of the curls and moisturizes more than regular shampoo. It is better when paired with the Curlook conditioner, but it is fairly moisturizing on its own. Reviewing CURLOOK Kinky-Coily Shampoo | Sulfate Free – This is a great product. There is a little smell or no residue left on my hair after using it. My hair is light, fluffy, glossy, and not frizzy. The size is decent for the price. It just takes a small amount to clean my hair (I have long hair) and it’s easy to rinse out. Very nice shampoo with a subtle smell!
My wife recently tried a shampoo from this brand so when I saw a men’s version, I decided to order it and give it a try. It’s a great shampoo that smells good but is still subtle and gives my hair a great feel after use.
The shampoo comes in a grey plastic bottle that’s wrapped in plastic and loose in the package. There’s a foil seal underneath the cap that needs to be removed before first use. The shampoo definitely has a men’s oriented smell to it but its very subtle and I find it smells really nice after washing.
When using the shampoo, I find I don’t have to use a lot and it lathers up really well. I don’t typically use conditioner and I find the shampoo leaves my hair really soft after use and does a good job at rinsing out all the grime. Its easy to apply and rinses out really well in the shower.
Overall, I find this is a great shampoo and I’m happy I got it. If you’re looking to try a new shampoo that’s designed for curly hair, I can recommend this one!

I have dry hair type with tendency for curls, so I wanted to check how this shampoo will do. This shampoo is great for kinky and could hair. It leaves my hair feeling healthy and shiny after only one wash. The shampoo does not dry out my scalp since it’s sulfate free. The ingredients are cleaner but note there is added fragrance, which could mean anything so I’m a bit picky and don’t usually get stuff with fragrance. I wasn’t aware but it’s not a deal breaker I’ll still happily use this till it’s gone but I probably won’t be getting this again.

I will start by saying it is very evident this company cares about their product not being tampered with. Not only do they put a protective plastic around the top half of the bottle but there is a seal once you open it on the screw tip of the base. Does the made in Canada proud!
It terms of the shampoo itself i found the scent quite unisex in fact despite that its for men. the ladies in the household agree.
It lathers nicely and you can tell it’s dense and not watered down. A quarter size amount was enough for me and it lathered up nicely, rinced off cleanly without feeling heavy and most importantly it did not dry out my scalp.

Gentle shampoo
I ordered this shampoo for my husband, as I don’t have curly hair. I did however decide to try it for myself, just so that I could form an opinion.
The shampoo is somewhere between extra gentle and a regular shampoo, but it contains only mild ingredients. It foams and it cleanses the hair and the scalp well, without stripping the moisture too much. I did follow with the same brand conditioner.
This shampoo is recommended for men, and honestly I did not think about it until I smelled it. The scent is distinctively masculine, and I do not like it very much. It smells a little chemical and a little oceanic, something that I would find in men’s deodorants or body spray (think Cool Water and the like). On my husband the scent is more pleasant than it was on me, and he likes it. The scent does vanish almost entirely by the following day.
I think this is a good shampoo, especially because of the absence of harsh chemicals. I would have liked a more traditionally scented product, or not scented at all. Still very good and gentle.

The shampoo is really luxurious, it lathers up extremely nicely into a rich foam that makes a little bit of product go a long way and cleans really well without leaving my hair or scalp feel stripped.
The one issue I have with these Curlook products is that they smell bad, like, bad in a very “chemical” kind of way and it permeates it so much that even just handling the bottles leave your hands smelling strangely. It would have been way more pleasant to use if they had masked/perfumed it in way to minimize that scent.
