Excellent product. makes my hair very soft and is it a very good price! I literally love my hair after this.

    A great product for curls
I recently started using Curlook’s sulfate-free shampoo, and I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised by the difference in my hair!

It helps define my curls while keeping natural moisture. Even without sulfates, it lathers surprisingly well, effectively removing buildup. I also like the scent. Other sulfate free shampoos have smelled to clinical or didn’t seem to clean my hair, but that’s not the case here.

Right after washing, my hair feels soft and shinier. The formula gently cleanses and hydrates without any harsh additives. I use it on my bleached hair and it’s so soft.

I think it’s an excellent value. It really brings out the texture and definition in my waves, and I’ll definitely be repurchasing it.

    Love for My Wavy Hair
Love this! Brought it with me to try out on a trip and usually shampoos are too oily for me if they’re for wavy hair but this one was just the perfect amount of lather moisture and oil my hair feels so soft and it gives a nice shine! The bottle is sturdy and the design makes it seem more expensive than it is easy to dispense (i have arthritis) didn’t give me much pain to squeeze out!

    Curlook Wavy Hair Shampoo
I recently switched to the Curlook sulfate-free shampoo, and I’m thoroughly impressed with the results.

This product is specifically designed to define and enhance wavy hair without stripping away natural moisture, and it absolutely delivers. It manages to sud up nicely despite being sulfate-free, which is great for cleaning away product buildup. Plus, the scent is very mild, which I appreciate.

After washing, my hair immediately feels silky and looks shiny. The formula focuses on gentle cleansing and moisturizing while being free of harsh chemicals (silicone, parabens, sulfates, dyes, etc.). This makes it safe for daily use and color-treated hair.

Considering the quality ingredients, the excellent performance on my waves, and the fact that it leaves my hair feeling nourished, I find it to be a very good value. It truly enhances the texture and shape of my waves. I will definitely be buying this again!

Works Great For My Wavy Hair!
I have thick, wavy hair that reaches my lower back. It tends to lean on the dry side and is usually a pain, with lots of flyaways. My waves rarely want to look uniform.

This shampoo is thiiicccc. I was a bit surprised. I probably should have used less the first time; I used the amount I typically use, and my hair was SO lathery & soapy. It’s honestly like a salon grade lathering. Subsequent times, I’ve been able to use way less; I lather it in my hands before and that helps spread it in my hair. I really love how well this soaps up.

The smell is a light fresh scent, nothing super memorable but nothing that will contradict my hair perfume.

So far, my hair seems to like this shampoo. My hair feels clean, and not the stripped “squeaky” feel like a clarifying shampoo. I do have to make sure I really soak in my conditioner, because otherwise my hair feels drier, but my waves are more uniform and visible.

I probably won’t use this as a daily, just because my hair does seem dryer after usage. Maybe if I find the right conditioner combo? It is a great shampoo though; that salon like lather is crazy!

  6. Triple A (Amazon Customer)

Not bad for low porosity hair
There is no real smell to the Curlook Wavy Shampoo. Perhaps a clean scent, but no flowers or herbs or anything overwhelming. With a single lather and rinse the hair feels pretty clean, and that is being done with no intentional product buildup, just what happens with low porosity hair that doesn’t absorb products and they dry on the outside. With this type of hair it can also be hard to hold curls and waves, especially when the hair is very thick and long as well, the old conditioners and such weight down the hair, and there is a lot of hair to weight down. We noticed a distinct increase in the amount of texture that comes through after using.
The formula is thick, in the picture shown here it is being held upright on a hand and it isn’t dripping at all. That explains the good lather and suds when using, which makes it easier to tell that all the head has been reached. No lather in an area, probably no shampoo! So very easy to use!

Soft, shiny, and frizz free hair
I was drawn to this shampoo based on the ingredients and the ingredients it is free from. It has a nice texture, comparable to a body wash, and is easy to distribute throughout the hair. In the bottle, it has a strong, fresh scent, but after use, the smell is very subtle in the hair. I had noticeably more curl and waves than usual after using it, and my hair was very soft and shiny. I used it in conjunction with the coordinating conditioner. The one thing that didn’t work well for my fine hair was that it weighed it down, making it feel oily and “heavier” than usual. The second time I used the shampoo, I followed up with the coordinating styling creme and blow-dried with a diffuser. It made a big difference. My hair was light and full of volume and waves. This shampoo is excellent, and a great value for the money. Consider getting the coordinating conditioner and styling cream; it will give your hair the best results.

  8. Ginny (Amazon Customer)

Gentle Formula but Leaves Hair Dry and Frizzy
I tried the Wavy Shampoo because I wanted a sulfate-free option to maintain my natural waves. While it feels gentle and has a mild, pleasant scent, I noticed that after a few washes, my hair feels dry and frizzier than before. It cleans well but doesn’t provide enough moisture or definition for my waves. My hair looks softer immediately after conditioning, but the dryness and frizz return quickly. The quality seems okay, but it didn’t meet my expectations for wavy hair care.

  9. Matthew Lee (Amazon Customer)

    stars Very nice shampoo
This shampoo is quite good, even for non-wavy hair. I was surprised to see how thick it was the first time I used it, as it seems more concentrated than what I normally use. It did lather up nicely though, and spreads really well – almost as good as what I see in salons.

My hair feels softer and healthier than usual, which I appreciate, and though this is effective, it doesnt overly dry out my hair.

The scent is decent too, light and pleasant. All in all, worth the money.

  10. mervissa (Amazon Customer)

    Nice sulfate free shampoo
This is a nice thick shampoo that lathers very nicely. A little bit goes a long way so start small and build up. Hair feels clean without stripping and drying. Hair feels soft and hydrated after using conditioner. It has a nice light smell. Rinses out great and hair looks healthier with better defined waves and curls. Obviously still need to use hair products after, but it did seem to help with frizz and did not weigh hair down.

  11. Asjstrm (Amazon Customer)

    Doesn’t weigh down the waves
I have been very impressed with this shampoo. I do not find the scent overwhelming at all, although it is a bit perfumy. I have short wavy hair that is slightly course and very thick. I find that I am actually able to use a nickel size amount of product and my hair and scalp feel clean and the product washes out nicely. I do not have the matching conditioner, so I wonder if I would be happier with the set, but it works well with my regular conditioner.

This is a good size bottle and because it doesn’t require as much product, it should last me awhile even with daily washing.

  12. Nadine (Amazon Customer)

worked well on my straight hair too
This Curlook Shampoo is designed specifically for wavy hair. I actually have straight, thin hair, but this worked fine for me. It thoroughly cleaned my hair. My hair felt soft and hydrated afterward. It made my hair look and feel healthy. I didn’t notice any added volume or any improvement with frizz. I have fully highlighted hair, so it’s important to me that this shampoo is safe for color-treated hair. This shampoo is gentle enough to use on a daily basis. It’s a medium sized bottle of shampoo. It smells nice and light. At the current price point of $20, it’s expensive. You can find much more affordable shampoo options for 400 milliliter bottles.

    stars Canadian
The shampoo smells like Cool Water perfume from back in the day. Not overpowering at all. Pleasant. It has a foil lid to keep from spilling in shipment. The bottle size and quantity is comparable to most products. I didnt have to put extra to lather my hair. One squirt was enough to get my locks clean. I did feel like my scalp was nice and clean after use. The shampoo is clear and thick without weighing your hair down. No sulfate and parabins. There is a long list of ingredients though hard to know what all of them are. In regards to curls, though every person will differ on curly and wave factor for hair, I did find that my hair was more bouncy and curly after use. I used my own conditioner and leave in conditioner afterwards. Air / towel dried. Made in Canada.

Perfect for my hair – leaves it soft and silky
I like this shampoo for my 2c-3a wavy/curly gray hair. It leaves my hair feeling soft and silky and ready for the after-wash products. This also didn’t affect my scalp at all, unlike some other “curly hair” shampoos. The scent is kind of musky, but it doesn’t last long. My hair (being gray) is pretty dry on it’s own, but this shampoo didn’t make it any worse. Definitely no greasiness. Value is about average for specialty curly hair shampoo. I want to try their conditioner now.

  15. pepiana (Amazon Customer)

works really well on 2A/2B wavy hair
I really thought I had found my one and only HG shampoo, but after trying this, I may have to cheat on it a bit more often than I ever thought I would. This shampoo works really well for my thick, wavy hair.
My hair is a combination of 2A on the sides and 2B at the back, and it’s harder than it should be to find a shampoo that moisturizes enough to keep away the dreaded “Christmas tree” hair but is still light and rinsable enough to not cause greasiness. This shampoo has a great balance. It lathers well and rinses thoroughly, leaving my scalp feeling clean and comfortable, not dried out and itchy and not over-moisturized. My hair looks healthy and my waves look soft and defined.
It has a fragrance, but it is appropriate for shampoo, enough to make washing a sensory experience and leave my hair smelling clean, but not a punch-in-the-nose, compete-with-my-perfume fragrance.

The bottle came sealed with a sticker over the flip-up opening. Made in Canada.

  16. Jessica (Amazon Customer)

Pricey but well worth it for how good it works on my curly hair
My curls are somewhere between 2C/3A. This shampoo is pricey but honestly for how defined and tamed it made my hair, it’s worth it. It made my hair look shiny and feel healthy. I have very frizzy hair with a ton of flyaways if I don’t use proper products and this tames everything down better than any other shampoo I’ve tried before. It’s very thick so not much is really needed and lathers well. It doesn’t have a strong scent, just more like clean, which I like. My hair feels clean, my curls look defined and nice, and it makes my hair feel soft. This shampoo is worth the price for how well it works in my opinion.

  17. raemelle (Amazon Customer)

    Lovely product!
As someone with wavy hair that borders on curly in some spots, I’m always searching for products that actually work for my hair type This shampoo is a great find. It leaves my hair clean, soft, and defined without drying it out. The scent is subtle but pleasant, and I appreciate that it’s sulfate-free.

Like most sulfate-free shampoos, it doesn’t foam up much, which makes it a little harder to tell how evenly it’s spreading, but that’s just the nature of the formula. Overall, I really like this shampoo and plan to keep using it. It works beautifully for my wavy-to-curly hair.

    Nice soft waves
Using the shampoo, conditioner and styling cream gave me some nice soft curls. My hair is a bit frizzy from my own faults (I don’t have a diffuser and also from a bit of bleach damage). The bottles are decently sized, not too bulky so they fit nicely in the corner of the tub. My hair feels moisturized and my hair feels thicker and fuller. The volume is nice and no weigh down!

The smell is also quite lovely, I always love a great smelling shampoo.

Overall this seems like a very nice value shampoo and I am happy with my results.

Cleans Well – Leaves Hair Soft!
I have naturally dry, wavy hair. I also color and blow dry, so it needs all the nourishment it can get. I like that this shampoo cleans and moisturizes.

This shampoo is really nice. It leaves my hair feeling clean, but not stripped, and soft, not at all dry. I have a problem with frizz and while it cleans well, it leaves my hair clean of products and softer than other salon shampoos I’ve tried. I’m not sure it defined my waves any more than with other shampoos, but I like the results in any case.

All in all, I’m very pleased with this shampoo – a great choice!

    Cleansing Oily and Thick Hair
Does have a musky smell but not so pungent. Not too masculine in smell. Also has a floral or sweet type of fragrance in the mix. Lathers well when using an adequate amount does a great job cleansing oily and thick hair. Does provides softness, but nothing like a conditioner. As far as shine, wasn’t able to tell. Could be very well due to lighting. Bottle arrived plastic wrapped on the cap and beneath tamper sealed. Quality justifies the value in this case. Made in Canada.

    URLOOK Wavy Shampoo
This shampoo worked really well. My teenager’s hair usually holds onto food smells from work, but this left it clean and fresh. The cleansing properties alone make it worth the price. Only a small amount creates a rich lather that builds as you wash and takes a bit of rinsing, so the bottle should last a long time. Hair looked soft and defined afterward. It’s sulfate free and made with niacinamide, creatine, minerals, and plant extracts, which all sound great for hair health. I’m looking forward to trying more products from this line.

    great shampoo
This has a beautiful smell of clean hair, I have get compliments about it. The bottle size is managable, but I wish it was bigger. my hair looks healthy after a couple of use and what waves look spectacular! My hair is thick and this shaamppo does the work well. Totally worth the money!

  23. A BookReader (Amazon Customer)

    Good gentle shampoo
This shampoo does a very good job of cleaning my hair, and it is gentle so it doesn’t strip it. I used just a small amount and got a good thick lather that covered all of my shoulder-length hair. I am happy with the effects it has had on my hair. It reduced the frizziness without removing waviness and curls, and it isn’t heavy so it doesn’t leave my hair looking flat. This has an added fragrance that is pleasant but that is so light I barely noticed it. I think this is a very good shampoo for damaged and frizzy hair as well as for curly hair.

  24. MIRCHE (Amazon Customer)

    Hydrated Waves!
This shampoo works incredibly well for my long, wavy 2B/2C hair that’s been a bit damaged. It cleanses effectively without stripping moisture and leaves my hair feeling soft, hydrated, and silky smooth. I’ve noticed a big difference in frizz reduction too. The clean scent is pleasant and not overpowering. I follow it with the matching conditioner and leave-in cream, and the results are amazing. Highly recommend this brand and product!

Hair too Dry and Flattened Curls
My daughter has long, naturally curly hair and is always on the lookout for a good shampoo that doesn’t dry her hair out. This, unfortunately, was not it.
The pros: the scent is fantastic, it smells luxurious and adds an extra layer to your fragrance. The shampoo cleans decently well. It is a big bottle, which makes the price more palatable if it worked better for us.
The cons: It is not very moisturizing and the curls aren’t as bouncy as with other similar shampoos. Hair feels very dry after use.
Other reviewers seem to have better experience with this. If you have hair on the more dry side, this might not work as well for you. It just leaves the hair too dry, even in conjunction with the conditioner.

  26. Katawampas (Amazon Customer)

    Moisturizing with a Cheap Scent
I have naturally wavy and healthy hair. This shampoo was just a little too moisturizing for my hair. It did leave it wavy, clean and soft but it was a bit more flat than normal. The scent is a sharp floral that I found unpleasant.

  27. Keith (Amazon Customer)

    Keeps your curls looking good
I’ve been using this Curlook wavy shampoo for almost a month now and it does a pretty good job keeping my wavy curls looking good. I’ve been using this brand two to three times a week, since I need to rotate my shampoos every wash. Using only one brand everyday has never worked well for my hair. Unlike some shampoos that flatten my hair and kill my curls, this shampoo promotes them, which is great. It’s a different smelling shampoo that’s like a minty pine. It’s not a bad smell, but it doesn’t smell like regular shampoo brands. It’s a mild scent, so it isn’t that noticeable. I’ve found that it doesn’t lather as much as other shampoos, so I need to use a little bit more in order to cover all of my hair. Otherwise, my hair comes out clean and pretty manageable. It’s also easy to brush and style, and my curls last throughout the day. My hair gets moisturized, but it doesn’t look greasy, like some brands do. My hair does have a slightly different feel to it when I use this shampoo, compared to others, yet it’s still soft. But the biggest thing that I’ve noticed is if I skip a couple of days washing my hair, it looks a bit dirtier, if this was the shampoo I used last. I don’t have this problem with my other main brand, so maybe it’s how the scalp’s oils react? Since I always shampoo before socializing, it isn’t that big of a deal. At this point, this is my second favourite shampoo. I’ve been using my primary brand since the mid-80’s and that one has always worked best for me. I’ve tried numerous other brands over the years, but they either didn’t work well or they were discontinued. I’m glad I found this shampoo, as it does a good job making my hair look good. If you have long curly or wavy hair, it’s worth giving this shampoo a chance. I find it works better than most mainstream national big name brands.

Not much required to lather well but scent is like men’s aftershave or cologne
Reviewed in Canada on October 24, 2025
Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )
I have coarse, slightly wavy hair so I thought this shampoo would be nice to try.

Most times I just use Pantene as it’s a fairly good shampoo that’s reasonably priced. Sometimes I’ll use Head and Shoulders as well because I have some flakes.

I like that this Curlock shampoo is thick out of the bottle and lathers well. I have shoulder length hair and I only used probably less than 2 teaspoons and was able to get good lather and coverage. This shampoo also rinses well which I like. I don’t like shampoos that leave a residue similar to leave in conditioner and this Curlock shampoo doesn’t have that which is good.

I always put a bit of Marc Anthony Coconut Oil and Shea Butter mixed with a bit of real edible coconut oil into my freshly washed wet hair to contain frizz. So that’s what I also did after using Curlock. The results were comparable to my usual shampoo but it felt a little bit softer than usual after my hair dried. Other than the softer texture, my slightly wavy hair looked as per usual.

One thing to note is that it doesn’t do anything for flakes. This product is not for that, but I’m mentioning it for anyone who experiences that. I’ll still need to use an anti-dandruff shampoo a couple of times a week.

Overall, I had a good experience with this shampoo. I’ve used other made in Canada shampoos and they are priced higher than imported name brand shampoos and I can understand that. At the current price of about $24CAD, this domestic shampoo is a fair price given that it doesn’t require very much to get a good lather.

The main thing I didn’t like about the shampoo was the scent. The scent smells like cologne or aftershave and for a woman, it’s not something I want to smell like. If you’re a man who likes that scent, this is a good product if you’re interested in trying a domestic shampoo. My husband likes that smell of this shampoo.

  29. ReviewingAvenger (Amazon Customer)

Good shampoo, light texture and light on the scalp
    The Curlook Wavy Shampoo review:
    – The smell definitely hints that it’s somewhat more “premium” shampoo. When I use this, it reminds me of the smells that you get when you get your hair washed at a salon. Maybe not exactly, but definitely closer than those cheap shampoos from a drugstore
    – I like that the bottle has enough surface area on top so that when you’re running low, you can just place it upside down so the remaining shampoo flows easier.
    – I asked AI about the ingredients, it said that these are pretty normal ingredients, so nothing too damaging to the hair, and some things are even good.
    – The shampoo feels light on my hair and does not tangle my hair like some heavier shampoos. When I use it, my fingers dont get twisted in my hair (my hair is kind of damaged and wavy so it happens a lot with other shampoos).

    What I dont like:
honestly not much, I’ve been using it for a few weeks now since I got it, and actually enjoy it.

    Premium shampoo for curly hair
I am a proud Canadian and am particular about supporting a Canadian company. This Wavy shampoo by CURLOOK has a beautiful scent and works well.

A small amount of the shampoo is all you need for a rich lather, which is economical. Performance wise, it moisturizes nicely and helps hold curls, contributing to a defined wave pattern without weighing hair down.

Priced at $24 for 400ml the price is consistent with premium, sulfate-free shampoos. If you’re prioritizing a sulfate-free option that is specific to wavy hair & supports Canadian business this shampoo is worth considering.

Bounce Without the Baggage: Curlook Wavy Shampoo Puts Up a Pretty Good Fight (Even for Curly Hair)
My hair is curly, the kind that makes its own rules and rarely agrees with anything labelled just for “waves.” Honestly, I took a chance on Curlook Wavy Shampoo mostly out of curiosity. Sulfate-free? Made in Canada? Promises to cleanse, moisturize, and define? Sure, but a wavy shampoo isn’t usually my first pick. I usually go straight for curly formulas that are a little heavier, richer, and tailored for frizz patrol.

Here’s the surprise: It actually worked pretty well for me. The sulfate-free formula is gentle, so it didn’t strip my curls or leave them parched. After a week or so of use, my hair felt clean and soft, with none of that squeaky-dry feeling. I half-expected to lose definition since most wavy shampoos don’t have enough moisture for full-on curls, but my shape held up, and my curls even looked a bit more bouncy than usual, not bad for something not designed specifically for curls.

The lather is creamy and feels satisfying, and the fresh scent is subtle and spa-like, not the generic artificial fruit you get with some drugstore brands. My main tip if you’ve got curls like mine: follow up with a richer conditioner or styling cream, because this won’t replace all the moisture you need on its own.

Would I use this as my main shampoo? Probably not all the time, I’m picky, and my curls demand a little more, but for a lighter wash or days when my hair just needs a reset without buildup, Curlook is actually a solid contender. If you have curly hair and feel like experimenting, or if you share your shower with someone with wavy hair, this is one of the few “wavy” shampoos that won’t totally leave your hair hanging.

Bonus: The bottle is generous, and it’s made in Canada. Sometimes, a little cross-training in the wavy lane isn’t such a bad thing for curls after all.

  32. Vella (Amazon Customer)

    No more frizzy waves!
I got this for my adult daughter’s hair which is straight at the top and part way down it’s wavy. (the mix of genetics from her parents don’t mix well apparently lol)
Usually her hair is pretty frizzy and the waves are not very curly, but after using this, they look more like curls than loose, frizzy waves. She is super pleased with this.

  33. Christine Doyle (Amazon Customer)

    Made in Canada!
This Wavy shampoo does a great job of cleaning and defining natural waves without stripping moisture. The sulfate-free formula feels gentle on the scalp while still giving a satisfying clean, leaving hair soft and manageable rather than dry or frizzy. It lathers lightly but spreads easily, so a small amount goes a long way. After washing, waves stay more defined and hydrated, with a healthy, natural texture that’s easy to style. The scent is light and clean, giving it a fresh, salon-quality feel.

It’s made in Canada, and the quality really shows—balanced ingredients, no heaviness, and no residue left behind. Over time, it helps maintain consistent wave pattern and softness, especially when paired with a proper conditioner. It’s ideal for anyone with wavy or mildly curly hair who wants to keep definition without weighing it down. A solid, well-made shampoo that delivers on what it promises.

So excited to try this, but…
I have 2C hair, so wavy, coarse and thick. I’ve yet to find my perfect shampoo and was hoping this Canadian made brand was it.

As soon as I took off the protective packaging however, I started having an allergic reaction. The smell, holy moly, it’s STRONG perfume musky smell, and I have no idea why anyone would douse any product, much less of that washes out, with this much scent.

I took the pictures but my eyes started to water, my lips were burning. All I did was remove some plastic covering the lid to ensure it didn’t spill and hold the bottle for 30 seconds. The bottle wasn’t even opened!

I had to ask someone else to put this in a plastic bag and get it out of my house, while I washed my hands and face.

So… there’s no way I can test this product. There’s nothing on the (lengthy) ingredient list that gives me any indication as to what I’ve had an allergic reaction to.

I’ve given it three stars because the idea is great and I want to support Canadian companies, but I’ll need to stick to hypoallergenic options in the future. The strength of my reaction – I get it’s mine, but I’ve never had a problem with any shampoo, ever.

I really really like this shampoo the consistency is quite thick, but it makes your hair so noticeably soft, which for a shampoo is impressive. I was already using a curly hair shampoo and conditioner, so I really didn’t notice much of a difference after my hair was dry. I also didn’t find it made my hair any more or less wavy. It is cruelty, free and free of sulphates and of all of those other things so ethically a good company and also has decent ingredients. The only reason I deducted a star is because I really really don’t like the scent and it seems like maybe I’m the only one who doesn’t. It is just musky and smells kind of like a man’s deodorant which for a woman’s shampoo I don’t want to smell like a man and I say this is a woman’s shampoo only because I see they have a specific line for men so you would think this one would smell fruity or flowery or something. Personally, I think that $24 for a bottle so $50 for the set of shampoo and conditioner is way too expensive. I would rather just stick to the $8 stuff that I was already using before this because it gave me a similar result.

    Great shampoo for wavy hair
The CURLOOK Wavy Shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean, soft and manageable. I have long, wavy hair and any shampoo that doesn’t leave a build-up on my hair and doesn’t weigh it down is great. The shampoo is neither too thick nor too thin in consistency. I have been using it along with the Curlook Wavy Hair Conditioner for about 3 weeks. It is a good shampoo for wavy hair and leaves my hair shiny and healthy-looking.

Didn’t make my waves look more defined, but lathers and cleans well.
I rather enjoyed using the Curlook Wavy Hair Shampoo. The smell is clean and fresh with a perfumey hint, and reminded me of the scent of shampoos that salons often use. It made my hair feel clean and soft and I found it lathered up really well, so you don’t need much to get a good clean. I didn’t notice a difference in the wavy-ness of my hair afterward, but I found it did control the frizz and left my hair feeling and looking soft.

    stars Canadian brand shampoo
I have wavy hair, and it doesn’t do anything for my waves, but I like it.
My mom doesn’t like the scent too much, but it seems to hold up her perm okay. Not a drastic change, though.

    stars Great
I like this shampoo a lot. It distributes really well so I can easily take some between my hands and spread it across my whole scalp, unlike some shampoos that don’t spread very well and I have to apply directly in multiple different sections. I have very dry hair that gets really straw-like and matted after shampooing, and I find this one a bit more moisturizing than most so the effect isn’t as bad.

It has a fairly strong smell that is pretty generically “spa”-like, nothing special or amazing for me but fine. I don’t feel like it lingers in the hair.

I have a mix of curls and waves, and after using I did notice my hair being a little more on the wavy side and not as curly as it can be, so it does seem at least somewhat effective for waviness.

    Gentle Shampoo That Defines Waves
This wavy hair shampoo is sulfate-free and does a good job of cleansing while keeping my waves soft and defined. It moisturizes without weighing hair down and helps maintain the natural shape of my waves. Gentle and effective — a solid choice for anyone with wavy or curly hair.

Great smelling shampoo for conditioning wavy to curly hair
This shampoo works wonderfully for my curly hair. Keeps it soft and shiny, while removing my product residue.

The smell is very nice to me. It has a subtle woody scent, and smells just like products used at the salon. The scent matches the conditioner as well.

The shampoo itself is nice and thick. Not too runny so it lathers up nicely.

It is mostly safe of harmful ingredients according to the EWG website, however do your research into Cocamidopropyl Betaine if you’re an absolute purist with your ingredients.

The bottles look like salon product, and are neutral so they look nice on my shelf.

Overall I’m very happy with it. Leaves my hair shiny and soft and really helps define my curly-ish hair.
